This policy explains how rooksurveysoftware.com (“the Website”) handles visitor data. The Website is operated by Rook Software and hosted on Vercel. The short version: we do not use cookies, we do not run analytics, and we do not track you.

Information We Collect

The Website does not actively collect any personal information from visitors. We do not use contact forms, user accounts, login systems, or email signup lists.

However, when you visit any page on the Website, our hosting provider Vercel automatically processes standard server log data as part of delivering the page to your browser. This may include your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, and the date and time of your visit. This is standard for virtually all web hosting and is required for the Website to function.

Cookies and Tracking

The Website does not set any cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other analytics or tracking services. No JavaScript tracking scripts are loaded on any page.

If we add analytics or tracking in the future, this policy will be updated accordingly and a cookie consent mechanism will be implemented where required by law.

Hosting Provider

The Website is hosted by Vercel, Inc. When you access the Website, your request is processed through Vercel's Edge Network, which operates on infrastructure provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP). Vercel processes request data as described above in order to serve the Website's content.

Rook Software does not use Vercel Analytics, Vercel Speed Insights, or any other optional Vercel data collection features.

Third-Party Links

The Website may contain links to external services such as the Google Play Store. These third-party sites have their own privacy policies, and Rook Software is not responsible for their content or data practices.

Children's Privacy

The Website does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

International Visitors

The Website is hosted in the United States via Vercel's global Edge Network. If you are visiting from outside the United States, please be aware that your request data is processed through Vercel's infrastructure which spans multiple geographic regions. By using the Website, you acknowledge this processing.
