Rook Calculator

Our first product, Rook Calculator, brings a true RPN scientific calculator to Android for surveyors, engineers, and scientists who know and rely on HP calculator workflows — notably the HP 35s. It pairs a four-level RPN stack with an equation solver, numerical integration, keystroke programs, several keypad layouts including an HP 35s-style layout, and the degrees-minutes-seconds and unit conversions surveyors use every day.

It's a one-time purchase of $5.99with no subscription, no ads, and no tracking. It's rigorously tested and continually refined based on how surveyors and engineers actually use it in the field and at the desk, and every release is documented in the changelog.

What's next

Rook Survey Tools, a suite of Windows tools for land surveyors, is in development, extending Rook's approach to the desktop.

Who's behind Rook

Rook Survey Software LLC is an independent software company based in Pennsylvania, founded and led by Clayton Hayes, a licensed Professional Land Surveyor who has worked in the field since 2007. Rook's tools come out of that day-to-day work: the calculations and workflows surveyors actually rely on, built for the devices they carry now.
